1.4016 – some non-welded devices in chemical industry (heat exchangers for hot nitrogen oxides and hot nitrogen acid, absorption towers, tanks for acids, pipelines, tankers, etc.); in food industry (containers for groceries, autoclaves, pasteurizers, transport tanks); household goods; welding is not recommended.

1.4301 – deeply pressed parts for devices in chemical industry (heat exchangers, reactors, condensers, tanks for acids, absorption towers, pipelines); in food industry (tankers, pasteurizers and other elements exposed to the effects of aggressive preservation agents), in papermaking industry (devices having contact with alkaline solutions); in varnishing and pharmaceutical industries (mixers, distilling boilers), sea vessel and air craft structures; decors in architecture; weldable.  

1.4306 - see 1.4301; some devices working in environments of intercrystalline corrosion effects; weld-able.  

1.4401, 1.4404 – parts of walls thicker than 20 mm, of high demands for resistance to intercrystalline corrosion and in presence of certain very aggressive chlorides; do not use in presence of nitrogen acid; in chemical industry (tanks, pipelines, pumps, etc.); in food industry (vars, tankers, heat exchangers); in papermaking industry (pipelines, cisterns, etc.); in pharmaceutical industry (tanks, mixers, pumps, distilling boilers), sea vessel structures, decors in architecture; weldable.  

1.4571 – devices of high demands for resistance to corrosion; in chemical industry (pipelines, tanks, reactors, pumps, etc.); in food industry (tanks, vars, autoclaves, tankers, heat exchangers); in pharmaceutical industry (mixers, distill boilers, reaction apparatus, etc.); holds in chemical cargo vessels in shipbuilding industry; weldable

1.4541 – in chemical industry (radiators, condensers, absorption towers, pipelines, tanks); in food industry (tanks, tankers, heat exchangers); in papermaking, varnishing and pharmaceutical industries (autoclaves, mixers, distilling boilers); parts for pumps working in acid shaft waters in coal mining industry; weldable.
